The salon’s queen bee, Lauren Taylor, will spend two hours applying each silk lash extension by hand to the lids of one lucky winner. I’ve long avoided having another set of faux lashes applied because, as a lady, there are already plenty of details to attend to in the beauty department (and I didn’t want another), but frankly, I feel so damn pretty with these things on. The best part is waking up and not needing a stitch of makeup because the lashes do all the work. If you calculate that into the routine, you’re actually minimizing the a.m. procedure. So there. And, of all odd things, my man loves them. Loves them.
